Leave Lake Placid on 86 west toward Saranac Lake. In Saranac Lake merge left with Route 3 west at the first light. Continue on Route 3 west to Tupper Lake. Five miles before Tupper Lake, Route 30 south merges with Route 3 west. Shaheen's Motel is on the left 1 mile before Tupper Lake village.

From Syracuse and Watertown
Take Route 81 North to Exit 48. Follow Route 342 East to Route 3 East to Tupper Lake. Stay on Route 3 east through the village of Tupper Lake until it merges with Route 30 north. Turn left onto Routes 3 east and 30 north which is also Park Street. Shaheen's Motel is 1 mile on the right side.

From Ottawa, Ontario
Take Highway 416 south to International Bridge and Ogdensburg, NY. Turn right on NYS route 37 a short distance to a right hand turn onto route 68. Follow route 68 through Canton, NY to the village of Colton where you take a right on route 56. Continue on route 56 to the junction with Route 3 east. Turn left and continue on Route 3 east. into Tupper Lake. Stay on Route 3 east through the village of Tupper Lake until it merges with Route 30 north. Turn left onto Routes 3 east and 30 north which is also Park Street. Shaheen's Motel is 1 mile on the right side.

From New York City and Albany
Take New York Thruway to Albany, then Route 87 (Northway) North to Exit 23 (Warrenburg). Take Route 28 west to Indian Lake - to Blue Mountain Lake - to Long Lake. Take Route 30 north to Tupper Lake. In Tupper Lake Route 30 north makes a right turn . You are now on Park Street and Route 30 north, 1/2 mile from this turn Route 3 east will merge with Route 30 north. Shaheen's Motel is 1 miles from this turn on the right hand side of Routes 30 north, 3 east, and Park Street.

From Plattsburgh and Burlington, VT
Take the ferry to Plattsburgh. Go straight on Route 374. It connects to Route 3 just west of Plattsburgh. Follow to Saranac Lake and through Saranac Lake to a traffic light at Lake Flower. Turn right on Route 3 west ,Continue on Route 3 to Tupper Lake. Five miles before Tupper Lake, Route 30 south merges with Route 3 west. Shaheen's Motel is on the left 1 mile before Tupper Lake village.

From Utica, NY
Take NYS Route 28 north through Old Forge and Raquette Lake to the junction of Route 30 in Blue Mountain Lake. Follow Route 30 north through Long Lake and into Tupper Lake. In Tupper Lake Route 30 north makes a right turn. You are now on Park Street and Route 30 north, 1/2 mile from this turn Route 3 east will merge with Route 30 north. Shaheen's Motel is 1 miles from this turn on the right hand side of Routes 30 north, 3 east, and Park Street
